Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) in the U.S. Department of Labor issued regulations regarding bloodborne pathogen (BBP) occupational exposure to reduce risk for workers. In Ohio, public employees are subject to Public Employee Risk Reduction Program (PERRP). PERRP regulations are consistent with OSHA regulations.
