The Lawrence County ESC (LCESC) is compiling a library of online learning resources for educators (Leaders & Teachers). These online resources can be found under the Online Resources and Modules tab on the LCESC home page. Also provided on the website is an ever-growing library of resources for educators to earn FREE contact hours through independent work on modules and webinars. The modules and webinars are categorized by subject, area of expertise, and leadership/coaching. In addition, consultants have developed modules on a variety of topics to assist educators desiring to earn free professional development and contact hours. Topics, for example, include Literacy, Gifted, and Special Education, with more to come! Certificates can be printed by the educator at the conclusion of each Module. Educators visiting the LCESC webpage will also find links to additional online learning opportunities that award contact hours and/or graduate credit through local universities.
Note: Educators are reminded to check their teacher certification(s) regularly and to verify with their local LPDC that they have an Individual Professional Development Plan on file, prior to taking courses for certificate renewal.
